I'm taking a liberty here in that I'm not commenting on the topic but just dropping by to say hello by way of Al-Ma'ari and noting that I share all your listed interests! Rest assured I'm following the news both in the Middle East and Japan and the rest of the world but the speed and pace of the events leave me a bit breathless to follow in detail.
